| | blah | ] | Just dropping all of you a note that I will not be available for some time as of the 25:th of April. We are changing ISPs here to a better, faster choice (finally) and if all goes well I should be right back up in a few days to a week. (according to the papers anyway!)
Time to jot down a grocery list for tomorrow! |

| | Wumpscut: - Wumpsex | ] | Almost reached level 37 now with my Warlock. I plan to start my guild at level 40 and I will only let mature and good players sign the guild charter so we get a good guild and not just one out there. There are plenty of crappy guilds out there on the server I play on (Thunderlord.) and I feel we need a quality high-end guild on here. I am currently in a guild which has good players but the Guild Leader is an ass and he loves to act it too *rolls eyes*
Now, the trouble is here that I have no idea what to name the guild! if anyone out there has an idea then post it here! I would appreciate it greatly! |

You Are Scary |

You even scare scary people sometimes! |
some ended up being only one....this fullmoon makes me....restless and no it has absolutely nothing to do with me being a therian! The moon has always had this effect on me. On another note I really need to get started working on a website I have really wanted to help out with. I am now an admin and head designer for guildwars.se, a swedish fansite for the game Guild Wars being made by ArenaNet. This game has tons of potential and it is really unique in the way it is being handled. It is an MMORPG....sort of, it is difficult to explain properly but if you are curious I'd recommend you joining in on the fun on their World Preview Event this weekend (lasting from 29th-31st.) Their alpha has extended over a 3-year period by now and this is their beta so to speak, part of it at least. You can get more info about the event and download the client here: http://www.guildwars.com/preview/default.html
Well I shouldn't be wasting time and should instead start working on some design of the site, we do have a deadline to keep (though not a solid date) the Head Admin is occupied with coding the PHP and working out databases and templates so I'm left with the eyecandy! It's going to be one hell of a ride! |

| | Marilyn Manson - Tainted Love | ] | Well it seems alot of MMORPGs will soon ht the market, some already have. We have titles as City of Heroes, World of Warcraft, Saga of Ryzom, Everquest 2, Guildwars, the Matrix Online, Dungeons & Dragons Online, Middle Earth Online....I could go on forever. But there are two titles that has caught my interest. We have World of Warcraft by Blizzard Entertainment which I have been foloowing the progress of the past 2 years. I had decided to choose one excellent MMORPG to play since many if not all have this monthly fee and paying for 2 games on a monthly basis is just too much for my finances. So I decided to go with World of Warcraft

But after some time had passed upon making my decision I started hearing good things of this game called Guildwars. Apparently the creators of Warcraft 1&2 and the Diablo series who had left Blizzard earlier this year was making this very game in their newly shaped company. I decided to check it out and was I surprised! The graphics are astounding and the system requirements are not that high as EQ2 is. But I realised that I would not be able to afford to play both games but oh was I ever so wrong! There is no monthly fee for Guildwars! And just to top it off you can play at any server you want as compared to World of Warcraft where you are restricted into forced servers! (meaning I won't be able to play with my US friends.) Blizzard said however that they will look into an option so that EU people can play on US servers later after the game has been released....in Europe! And WoW does not have a worldwide release thanks to Germany and France who just have to have the game in their own language! /&¤"(&%!)=¤("()(!#&(/&¤&%#!=)¤</end>
Well at any rate since Guildwars has no monthly fee then I can with no problem at all afford to play that as well but here I can actually play with my friends! I blame Vivendi Universial for playing the puppetmaster on Blizzards ass because they are behind this whole charade of localized servers. To end this whole entry here's a screenie from Guildwars

| | mus bat x2boss1 | ] | The misty and cool night seemed almost eerie in the small town known as Port Llast. It was as silent as the grave, not even the crickets and the air felt stiff and thick. The tow guards that had been posted at the gate stood wearily, one of them seemed more alsleep than awake.
"Open the gates" a dark and foreboding, femenine voice said. Both guards drew their swords and to their surprise a stranger clothed in heavy robes the color of deep purple stood before them. The cowl of the stranger's hood hid away most of her face in shadows, only hinting at a few facial features. "Open the gates" she said once more in a firm and commanding tone. One of the guards finally came to his senses and said "Who are you? Late is the night for any traveller" The other guard shifted on his feet, eyeing the stranger nervously.
"Open the gates!" The femenine voice now held a hint of anger. "Identify yourself! I will not open any gates at this hour. There is an inn further down the road, you could find a room there and retur by morning." The guard said in a strong voice. The robed stranger did not move. At length the guard spoke "I told you to return by morning! We will not open any g...." The guard's voice faltered and altogether failed him as the stranger pulled back her hood. She was indeed a woman, but her face was ashen-greay and her eyes were as red as blood, and a fire burned deep within.
The guard was so frozen with fear that he did not even notice she was now standing close to him. Suddenly the guardsman felt a sharp and almost mind-numbing pain in his chest. Painfully he looked down and saw that a clawed hand had pierced his chest with it's many long and sharp talons. He could feel his very being draining with energy and he could not will himself to move away. The other guard had dropped his sword with a loud clang and stood covering in a corner, too terrified to do anything.
The menacing woman flashed a wicked grin and exposed long fangs "I told you to open the gates" she said to the man who was now dying in her grasp "Now you pay the price!". The guards skin had already started to turn grey as ash and his skin was suddenly being pulled inwards, his eyes only showed immense pain and terror. As she released the now very dead guard he was nothing more than skin and bones. The robed woman let out a satisfying sigh.
Suddenly she felt something sharp enter her side, a sword went right through and skewered her left lung. If she felt any pain she did not show it, nor did she seem concerned that three feet of steel had now entered her body.
The guard who was now kindled with the fury of his friend's death stood in utter dismay as the horrifying woman slowly pulled out the sword which he had stabbed her with. No blood was upon the blade, nor did any blood issue forth from the already healing wound. The woman casually flung the sword aside and glared at the guardsman. He felt as if those red, burning eyes had enetered his very soul.
A blood-chilling scream could be heard throughout Port Llast only to be cut short and was only to be followed by the deadly silence of the night.... |

The second image is a compiled piece. I used various filters and effects in Photoshop to make the background. The demon on the right is a drawing by Samwise Didier, one of the main artists in Blizzards crew. You can find more of his art here: Sons of the Storm
On a second note we (me, Spurn and James) have our website up and running, forums and all. The site I am speaking of is for our PW for the game NWN (Neverwinter Nights.) Here's the URL:

I Am A: Lawful Neutral Elf Mage Cleric
Alignment: Lawful Neutral characters believe in the triumph of law and order above all else. It does not matter whether the leader is for good or evil; the leader will be followed, because the order they provide is the most important thing.
Race: Elves are the eldest of all races, although they are generally a bit smaller than humans. They are generally well-cultured, artistic, easy-going, and because of their long lives, unconcerned with day-to-day activities that other races frequently concern themselves with. Elves are, effectively, immortal, although they can be killed. After a thousand years or so, they simply pass on to the next plane of existance.
Primary Class: Mages harness the magical energies for their own use. Spells, spell books, and long hours in the library are their loves. While often not physically strong, their mental talents can make up for this.
Secondary Class: Clerics are the voices of their God/desses on Earth. They perform the work of their deity, but this doesn't mean that they preach to a congregation all their lives. If their deity needs something done, they will do it, and can call upon that deity's power to accomplish their goals.
Deity: Azuth is the Lawful Neutral god of wizards and mages. He is also known as the High One, and is the Patron of Wizards. His followers believe that a systematic approach to magic is the best, and they strive for calm and caution in order to avoid accidents. They wear shimmering robes, and are well-versed in magic, as well as typical priest spells. Azuth's symbol is a hand with a raised, glowing index finger.

| Atari...when will you learn? |

| | aggravated | ] | I like many other people went out and bought the well-spoke of CRPG Temple of Elemental Evil. I got home from work, installed it and configured video options and all those things before having a go at it. I had heard little of the bugs prior to me playing it. After about 1 hour of play I got so tired I turned the computer off and went to bed.
The next day I got up and went to Atari's site to look at their Troubleshooting sections. What I find are tons of complaints regarding a massive and I mean MASSIVE amount of bug reports making the game virtually unplayable. This I noticed myself while playing of course. I decided to wait playing the game since I had too much work that needed to be done at any rate.
I have returned to their site on a weekly basis to check on updates and they have told us that a patch was underway, that's fine. What is wrong with this picture is the low amount of feedback they provide their customers at their forums. What more that is wrong is that they do not keep their promises and that they lie constantly. I can wait months for a good patch but I hate being lied to.
They said in an official message that the patch was to be released this week....do I see any patch? no. Do I see any message that says "We're terribly sorry but the patch has been delayed"?.....no.
So Atari, start acting like grownups instead of tittering little schoolgirls trying to hide their candy in someone's toilet! |

Which Dyre Spirit Are You Most Like? brought to you by Quizilla
And no I did not lie so I got this result. It even says so in my positive aspects "honest".
And my negative sides I have to work with and some are just there to stay. But all in all this is highly accurate, when something does go the way I had planned it to work I get quite irked and annoyed. Sometimes quite mad. I know I know, some things are out of our control but when I know that I can control a situation and it will not work the way I planned I tend to get rather pissed. Obsessive? you have no idea :P Impulsive? Oh yeah, been there, done that doing it tomorrow. Bossy? at occassions yes. If some plan fails and people run around me with no apparent goal I try to set things straight by telling others what to do. This reference mostly regards work though.
Well, time for some breakfast....at 2am in the bloody morning!! hmmmmm, no I'll wait for a bit considering the fact that I will not be able to eat until 10am at work (2am-10am=8 hours....I don't think I could wait that long.) |

Games are never bad, they only get better and better ;)
And one more thing, is it just me or are kids getting more and more stupid with each generation?
Time to read a book, I doubt they read books in their spare time, only in school :P |

You'd turn into a lone wolf! Like a lone wolf you can coup perfectly well by yourself and do not feel the need for others company. However like a wolf you were once part of a pack and you can tolerate and get along okay with people when met with them. You are protective and loyal to the close friends you have but, will always be a true loner at heart
What animal would you turn into? brought to you by Quizilla
I have a pack but yes being alone from time to time does one good.
Congrats! You are a Gray Wolf! Gray Wolves are sociable creatures and live in a good size pack. They can live in all the weather changes but they enjoy the winter most. They work best as a family in hunting big food and live in the forests. Although sometimes you can find a loner it is very rare.
What Kind of Wild Canine Are You? brought to you by Quizilla
Indeed? how very surprising. |
